Leaf Springs

Looking for a set of 450 springs to put under my 99 F-250. The stock 250 springs don't like a big goose neck with the puller on the trailer. Let me know what you have. Thanks

Re: Leaf Springs

I have an 2010 F350 and installed Firestone bags, onboard HD compressor, and in cab dual controller. Great setup! I carry 4800-5200# in the bed and have no problem at 65# of air....unhook the trailer, drop the air....still rides great (for a srw one ton)

Re: Leaf Springs

I've got half of a spring pack out of an f550, it doesn't ride to terrible, and the truck doesn't squat. But on the rougher roads I find myself wishing I would've stuck with 350 leafs and gotten a set of air bags.

Re: Leaf Springs

I know this is old, but I have real world experience as an auto transporter. I bought an f350 and put bags on it with a semi truck leveling valve to handle filling the bags. With the trailer loaded it was dumping 125psi into the bags to handle the weight. I picked up 450 springs and kept the bags. I'm super happy with it. It's a little rough unloaded but really not bad. The highest I have seen the bags fully loaded is 75psi

Re: Leaf Springs

I believe my Firestone bags allow a max of 100 psi for 5000 pounds of capacity. They've given me great service.
