unhook factory wastegate line??

im wanting to unhook my factory wastegate hose and put my boost gauge there. anyone have any pics of this being unhooked? or where its at? an what is the max boost i should see?

87 f150 xlt 302 original aod 3:55s straight pipes
90 bronco 6" lift 35s 302 aod, locked rear end
89 f150 302 aod 4x4 15x8 mb razors 33" swampers

We do not have a wastegate on the OBS trucks, so what hose are you referring to?

The boost gauge is easily connected by teeing into the MAP sensor hose. This hose runs from the passenger intake plenum up to the MAP sensor located on the passenger firewall. You must Tee into this line, not disconnect it, as it's important to have an accurate MAP sensor reading going to the PCM.

ok then thats the line im refering to. any special clamps or tees needed?

dont unhook that just t into it if thats not plugged into the map sensor it wont fuel

I wonder what my sig and avatar will get changed to now!!

For best results drill and tap the Y-pipe that comes off the turbo.

What the best way to keep the metal shavings out of the the system when drilling and tapping the y-pipe?
