Best turbo for 160/100

I'm looking for the best turbo for towing with my 160/100s. I currently have the d66 and well I'm very unhappy with it and as I'm reading so are alot of people. Thought about the 366sxe with .91 housing. what are you guys running?

Re: Best turbo for 160/100

I say the 364.5 would be a better choice.
Nice looking truck. I really want to have a 70's crew cab with a powerstroke.
What gears do you have in it.

01 f-250, Standard
Rev tech 4" lift, 37" military wrangler Mt tires
KC diy 66, Full force 160/100 and custom tunes from PHP
Banks intercooler and full 4" exhaust, Diy S&B intake
Diy quad feed, Hydra, Isspro boost, pyro, and fuel pressure
3/0 battery cables with military style terminals

Re: Best turbo for 160/100

What exhaust housing would you pick, it's a zf5 with 3:55 and 35 inch tires. I usually have 33s but I got the 35s cheap. I'm going back to 33s because with the 35s it gets the egts up there when I'm pulling the 13k 5th wheel. I wish it was a 70s crew cab there had to find lol

2006 f250 6.0 190/30 studded of course, 8 inch stack
1979 f250 7.3 zf5 speed 160/100 and all the other goodies, 4 inch duals
04 Mach 1 azure blue
And can't forget my girlfriend another good ride 😂

Boo 3:55 gears. I would run the .91 with the 5 speed. Should help with spool up. Lets as @Justin@DP-Tuner what he recommends

Yes. Definitely the S364.5SXE w/ .91 housing. It will be super quick to spool for you, unlike that D66.

We carry the entire T4 mount kit along with that turbo here... https://www.dp-tuner.com/ford-powers...00sxe64-5.html

Re: Best turbo for 160/100

I just need something different the d66 is not very good for all the reviews it had at the time (3 years ago). Thinking about putting the stock wheel and cover back on .

The D66 is worse than stock. Seriously. Unfortunately there was a big hype for them when they first came out before anyone could provide real world feedback. Tons of people have learned this lesson the hard way.
