Died and wont start again.

Hello, I have a 96 with a ts6 chip and was towing a trailer through the mountains the other day when the truck just shut off out of nowhere. The truck will not start since this happened. I have been trying to diagnose it and am not getting anywhere. First checked all the fuses and all were good. No check engine light but still hooked a scanner up to it and would not connect to computer. The tack moved and the wts light came on, would crank but no start. The icp was oil soaked, so it was replaced with a new ford replacement. Still no start. Had no time to look at it for a day or so and looked at it more today and now no wts light and the glow plug relay rapidly clicks, when removed the glow plug relay on the engine slowly clicks. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Re: Died and wont start again.

Sounds like you might need to recharge the batteries.

Other than that pull the chip and see what happens.

What scanner are you trying to use?

96 F250 XLT 4x4, 4:10 gears, 5 speed, Tymar intake and HX hose, downpipe, pyro and boost guages, coolant filter, Luc clutch
