Turn engine over by hand

I will be installing an injector for the first time this evening. Ill only be doing injector #3. I have sucked as much fluid out of the cylinder as I can. Im going to install the injector and keep the glow plug out, put on the valve cover and turn the motor over. I would like to do this by hand.

Will I be able to with only 1 glow plug out? I assume I will be using the crank pulley bolt to do this. Does anybody know the size of the bolt? Clockwise, correct?

Yes, suck as much of the fluid out as you can and just for insurance you could remove the glow plug and turn the engine over. The size of the bolt on the crank is a 24mm.

Re: Turn engine over by hand

I turned my engine over with ALL injectors and glow plugs installed when I was doing my HPOP. Pissed me off to no end when I found the super heavy-duty loctite on the bolt for that thing. End point is yes, you can do it by hand.
