Axle Codes?

Does anyone have a list of what the axle codes for these trucks? Could we make a sticky for future reference?

Re: Axle Codes?

Should be a stickey since so many people ask about it. Saves digging it up.

Re: Axle Codes?

On the door sticker, look for "Axle Code"

Re: Axle Codes?

Thanks Cat! If we could get a guide on what the actual axles were in which trucks(or axle code) would be awesome! Like what rear axle was in a '97 Cab & Chassis F350?? A 10.25 or a Dana 80 or what? What about a F-Superduty of the same year? And Agreed on the sticky again!

Re: Axle Codes?

I should have wrote Ford or dana axle in there as well...
To my knowledge (from all the F350 trucks I've seen pickup & cab & chassis) were 10.25
I won't bet money on that one though.
All the F-Superdutys were Dana 80 & 2wd only.

Re: Axle Codes?

Yeah I know the F-Sd's were all 2wd, I wasn't sure on what rear axle they had though. I was thinking the F350's all had 10.25's though
