Thats the gayest thing I have ever seen, but if you like it then....

Find out what flasher they are using. You can't use a "storbe" "flasher" with leds. Get a model number.

FWIW, you cna make any led roof lights flash with the flasher they are "giving" you

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

There is a thread on Plowsite about converting a LED 3rd brake/cargo lite into a strobe setup. This might make for a really stealth setup.

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

I like the idea of these because they are "stealthy". I want to change the cab lights on my obs anyway. I only need strobes in the winter when i do safety truck for the plow trucks on the hiway. My only concern with these is when the cab lights are on the strobes dont seem very noticable in the video on their webpage. Either way $199 and free shipping doesnt sem to be a bad deal

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

My self I don't think there worth 200 bucks, I'd add a little bit to it and get a 4 head hide away system. The clearance lights are not visible from the back very well or at all, and they do not look all that bright even with the parking lights off. Cool idea, but not worth it in my opinion for the amount of warning light they put off.

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

They were cool until I watch the video of them with the running lights on as well... WAY to dim. Would do nothing on the side of the road at night.

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

What do you suppose they would look like if you hooked a "kill switch" up to your cab lights where you could turn them off with the rest of the parking lights still on? Then have the strobes run alone when you need to use them. When you don't, you can flip the switch for the cab lights and they will function like normal.

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

Thats what I would do. I would run a dpdt switch on the strobes... When the lights are on the strobes are off. When the strobes are on the lights (cab lights) are off...

Re: Atomic strobe clearance lights

Yeah that would be nice to kill the runnin lights when strobes are on.. Also if the lenses were clear like recons, and had orange LED runnin lights and white strobe LEDs would be nice too
