Soft code I believe, RiffRaff has a delete plug for it.

Re: Quick ? About EBPV Delete

I installed the new pedestal w/o the sensor/actuator so I will not need the plug. So just tie the wire out of the way and it's all good? Will it give a check Engine Light??

Re: Quick ? About EBPV Delete

It sets a soft code. Meaning no check engine light but when you pull codes it will show up.

I've always gone with a delete pedestal and just zip tied the plugged in unit out of the way. Let it think it's doing something.
