Pulled some codes and don't really understand them...help

I pulled some codes today and don't really understand what they mean or where to even start looking for the problem. Here they are:
P1139- water in fuel lamp circuit malfunction
P1670- PCM to IDM communication failure???? No idea what this means
P0781- 1-2 shift malfunction? I just had the trans rebuilt 17kmiles ago
P1247- MAP low boost pressure( not sure but pretty sure my ccv didn't get hooked back up last week

I cleared the codes and they haven't come back yet but to prevent it where and how should I start looking?

HELP!!!
Chad

For p1670 check your batts, and connections first, otherwise it could be a bad PCM or idm connection or they are bad all together

If the idm or PCM was bad wouldn't the truck not run at all? How can I test to be positive?

Re: Pulled some codes and don't really understand them...help

DTC P1668 and P1670 indicates that a communication error has occurred between the PCM and the IDM.

Possible causes:
Open fuse, IDM relay, Open or shorted IDM enable circuit, IDM powering circuit, PCM

Check for other codes. Key on, engine off.

l Perform KOEO On-Demand Self Test and retrieve Continuous DTCs.
If DTC P1298 is also present, REPLACE the IDM.

Re: Pulled some codes and don't really understand them...help

I didn't get 1298 so I guess it might just be a bad connection than? I got some codes for my gp's, iah, and icp which I already knew but none were 1298. My odd concern is the PCM, idm and wif light as well as trans but that didn't come back either once I cleared them? I'm at a loss.

Go u to your local auto zone have them check your batts. Clean your batt terminals. charge them up. Then see if you get the 1670 code again. But the wif light im in the dark on that one

Re: Pulled some codes and don't really understand them...help

Yeah me too I don't know how old all of the codes are but I had a cold start issue that drained/killed the batteries last week I'm going to guess that's that problem. Thanks for all your help.

If they do not come back do not worry about it. As a general rule UNLESS its accompnied by poor perf I record and wipe the codes and see if they come back then start hunting if they do.

Re: Pulled some codes and don't really understand them...help

I'm gonna take the truck for a drive tomorrow and see if they came back. As for performance, nothing new other than the injectors I know I need .
