Please help!! Fuel filter light

Alright guys so when I'm driving and I drive like a normal person no fuel filter light comes on when I get on it the fuel filter light comes on and then goes away when I get off the throttle what could it possibly be

Well it could be the fuel filter. Change it.
If it comes on after that, do a fuel pressure test. Could be weak pump, or a restriction in the line's.

I just changed the filter and what is the fuel pressure suppose to be at the truck just has a intercooler and straight pipe

Okay I will try to do it this week and post again I appreciate it another thing I'm going to try is cleaning the other filter in the bowl

I didn't know the 99+ have a fuel filter light.

1999 7.3, Auto, 4x4, Ext. Cab

I think most diesels do.
Well except my jetta. It'll just throw a low rail pressure code and go into limp mode. Lol

I thought the 99+ didnt have a fuel pressurelight either. I know they havw a water in fuel light

01 f-250, Standard
Rev tech 4" lift, 37" military wrangler Mt tires
KC diy 66, Full force 160/100 and custom tunes from PHP
Banks intercooler and full 4" exhaust, Diy S&B intake
Diy quad feed, Hydra, Isspro boost, pyro, and fuel pressure
3/0 battery cables with military style terminals
