The bulletproof setup looks awesome.

Re: who makes remote oil coolers

Who?

as well the truck is a daily driver that is always set on a 60hp tune

after reading more it seems that the remote cooler is not a perfect fix due to cooler heat?

is a rad flush, new stock cooler with a filter a much better option

looking for the most reliable system due to back country sleding

Re: who makes remote oil coolers

bulletproof and liberator both make kits.
Both are solid kits. I like the size of the liberator kit's radiator and I have had first hand experience with their customer service, and it's great!
I will give it to BP that their mounting system is real sweet. I live in NJ so my plate would cover it all up anyway, thanks Jersey lol

Re: who makes remote oil coolers

BPD also offers a kit that mounts behind the condensor so it doesn't hurt the performance of your AC.

There are a few Mods on teh ORG tat are running the BPD kit and have god things to say about it.

A liquid on liquid cooler is a more efficient design but being my truck clogged 4 OE oil coolers on 100K the remote mount air to liquid cooler seems like a much better design to me.

Re: who makes remote oil coolers

The Ranger had to have one after we decided, (well it decided for us) that is was going to be run without coolant. THe setup I have right now is pretty basic bt still uses the stock cooler. I was approached by a few folks that made them, but given my problems with oil on the first motor, I decided I was gonna look around a bit. After talking to a few people and doing some research, I decided I was going to make my own. Currently the plates are being cut, and the right size filter, hoses and fittings are being gathered so the oil passages will be no less than what is stock.

I am going to do the first ones on the ranger and my red truck, (second stock cooler just split) to see how everything works out. With no problems, everything will be setup to make the plates and mounts. I am by no means saying I am manufacturing parts at this point to mass produce, but if it works out, (and it should) there will be another option available down the road, and it will be much more economical than whats currently available.
