leveling kit question

my roommate bought a leveling kit for his 04 f250. it came with new front arched springs, shocks, and all the ubolts and bracketry. do you have to take off the front bumper to do the teardown and install. we got all the tools to do it, and are compitent enough to do it, just have never done it before on a new truck. thanks
