Don't use Motorcraft Gold coolant.. Use International ELC coolant.. The Gold coolant is what was recommended but there has been some proof that it clogs the oil cooler.. I did notice my local Ford garage is now reccomending the ELC for the 6.0..

Where can i get the International ELC coolant?

I just ordered the dfuser coolant filter kit. 150.00 to my door, with three filters. i liked the dfusers T's better than the Diesel Site. It also came with 3 filters instead of just one.

Check your local Ford dealership.. My has it right on the shelf.. International dealer.. I'm sure someone else will chime in and post another ELC dealer location..

International's a good coolant but may be hard to find depending on where you live. Several other manufacturers make ELC's (extended life coolants). Just look for one that meets the CAT EC-1 specification.

Search on here for 6.0 gold coolant problems if you want an education in the problems with the Ford Gold junk.

Does any place like AutoZone, Wal-Mart, O'Riley's, or NAPA carry the coolant that is ELC recommended for the 6.0? I live in a small town and have these stores close by. Again thanks for all the help guys.
