Mine does the same exact thing. Don't worry it's fine. And at my house it's -10-20 degrees on a regular basis.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task, whatever it may be. One hundred percent and then some.

I have the exact same issue with the smoking. Smoke at start up and for a few seconds at acceleration from a stop. Also smokes when at stop signs until truck warms up. Just wondering if there has been any new discoveries or suggestions.

Re: 6.0 blue-ish smoke at idle and at starts

Could this be from my turbo drain tube? I did my egr delete a while back and I'm thinking I may have messed up putting the turbo back on causing a leak? Would that be a cause to burning some oil at idle and acceleration until truck is warmer and driven a couple miles?

Turbo seals could be leaking enough over night that it smokes until it burns it all out, my truck is doing the exact same thing and plan on getting a new turbo soon.
