What's in your tool kit?

I always keep a tool kit in all my vehicles. I try to keep only the tools I would need for my specific vehicle to keep down on storage space. Since I've only been in the diesel game for a few months and I'm trying to learn as much as possible I was wondering what does everyone keep in their truck as far as tools go? Thanks for any input.

Re: What's in your tool kit?

I need tools more than I should. But my Diesel is a tow/chase truck, so when I break the other truck, this one has the tools to repair it.

I have a full set of wrenches, metric and standard up to an inch
1/4 inch all the way to 1/2 inch drive socket set metric and standard up to 1 1/16 inch / 28mm
1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch impact drills
super glue and GAF tape
fuel and AC line disconnects
5 quarts of ATF
2 quarts of 15w-30
a 5 ton jack
a huge breaker bar
Two sets of jumper cables
metal Coat hangers
sharp knife
tow rope
lots of bearings and like 30 5/8 wheel studs.

As for tools that I use on the diesel, I have never needed to fix it on the side of the road, thankfully. Prep your daily as you see fit and it will treat you well.

I forgot duct tape. I leave a roll right in front of my center seat. I use it as a cup holder.

I keep all kinds of tape if there's ever a shortage of electrical tape its because I restocked again.
