6.0 Oil Leak at turbo

Truck leaks oil right under the turbo you can see a small puddle, replaced turbo drain o-ring and still leaking the mechanic I use works at ford is acting like he's stumped only leaks down the back of the motor while the truck is running and for a couple mins after it shuts off any suggestions here? 05 6.0 110k miles

maybe the HPOP cover leaking. unless you can see it on the drain tube. there's a o-ring on both ends.

STC fitting? I was having a similar problem. Didn't think much of it at first. Truck shut down 30 min outside of Vegas. 600 dollar tow service to 1000 dollar repair.

STC fitting would create a internal oil leak.

Maybe pull a inner fender well then you can see the back of the engine better.

truck wont hot start if it was an stc fitting...

2005 CC FX4...compounds and everything else that goes with em.

I mangled the lip of drain tube refitting the turbo causing a leak, quite oblivious it was dripping down the tube.

Thanks for the quick responses guys we replaced the oring again and all seems well now he said it looks like it didn't seat the first time. Fingers crossed lol

dont feel bad. I did the same thing when I put my 03 turbo on.Ive got to where I have plenty of o-rings laying around!

Mine started leaking after putting 03 turbo on last night, going to pull it tonight and check o ring , that was my first guess too.
