It still has the EGR
in it. Now to delete or try to keep it clean and working. How difficult is the deletion to do? I have heard an SCT or Gryphon programmer can solve the problem without deleting the EGR
, any thoughts on that?
A full delete is the best way to go if your state allows it. Tuners will keep the EGR
valve closed but it doesn't protect you if your cooler springs a leak. Even if you remove the EGR
valve leave it plugged in for proper fan clutch operation.
